TURNKEY FILTRATION SYSTEMS
Bulk Fuel Filtration Equipment
PFP’s fleet of industrial filtration systems offers a full suite of systems capable of addressing bulk fuel contamination across a wide variety of industries and applications. Our systems are capable of flow rates from 1 GPM to 30,000 GPM. All systems available for long or short term rental periods.

High-Flow Filter Vessels
High-flow filter vessels remove large volumes of particulate contamination from bulk fuel during recirculation or transfer.
Coalescer-Separator Vessels
Coalescer–separator vessels remove both free and emulsified water from diesel and bulk fuels using multi-stage separation technology.

Clay Treater Vessels
Clay treater vessels remove surfactants, additives, and dissolved contaminants that cause fuel instability, filter plugging, and separation issues.

High-Velocity Flushing Skids
HV flushing skids generate turbulent flow to remove debris/varnish contamination from piping, hydraulics, and fuel distribution lines.

Vacuum Dehydrators
Vacuum dehydrators remove dissolved & emulsified water while restoring fuel dryness and stability in large storage tanks, generator systems, and bulk fuel operations.

Filter Carts & Mobile Systems
Filter carts provide portable, versatile particulate and water removal for smaller batches, day tanks, generator sets, and transfer operations.
Custom Configurations Available Upon Request
Looking for a custom unit tailored to your operation? We can configure flow rates, media types, auxiliary packages, and more to match your specific fuel system and contamination challenges.

FAQ’s
What is bulk fuel contamination?
Bulk fuel contamination refers to the presence of water, sludge, particulates, microbial growth, or degraded fuel byproducts inside storage tanks and fuel systems. These contaminants reduce fuel quality and can cause equipment failures, engine damage, and operational downtime.
What causes bulk fuel contamination in storage tanks?
The most common causes include condensation, long-term storage, tank corrosion, microbial growth (“diesel bugs”), sludge buildup, poor tank maintenance, and the natural degradation of fuel over time. Read our blog on the causes & effects of bulk contamination.
Can service personnel be deployed alongside rental equipment?
Yes. PFP can deploy trained service personnel alongside any rental equipment to perform on-site filtration, system setup, monitoring, and full contamination remediation when required. Our goal is to offer complete, turnkey solutions.
What are the signs of contaminated fuel?
Typical signs include dark or cloudy fuel, sludge buildup, microbial odor, sediment at the bottom of tanks, repeated filter plugging, injector failures, and abnormal engine performance.
Why restore contaminated fuel if it can be replaced?
In most cases, contaminated fuel can be fully restored through on-site filtration and polishing. Replacement is only required when the fuel is severely degraded or chemically unstable beyond correction. Fuel replacement is far more expensive as there are significant costs associated with the disposal of contaminated fuel & acquisition of brand new fuel (which is often unclean and requires filtration before use).
Do you offer emergency bulk fuel contamination cleanup?
Yes. PFP provides rapid-response, on-site bulk fuel contamination services with nationwide support and high-flow filtration equipment ready for deployment at a moments notice. We understand the urgency of your situation.
